ELLIE JOANNI DWIRE
Wampus Cat |------| Female |------| 29 |------| Police Woman
|------| PHYSICAL |------|
Height: 5 ft 6 in
Weight: 128 lbs
Description: Not particularly tall or imposing, at first glance, this Wampus Cat is far from anything terribly noticeable. Well, other than the oddities common to her species of course. Her large red eyes and cross shaped reptilian pupils are usually strange enough to get most anthro's attention, besides that she is relatively unassuming. Her body is lean but fit, as one would expect from an active police officer. She's not terribly muscular, or at least lacks a lot of definition if she is, but is also very thin, almost daintily built with small hands and somewhat prominent joints. She doesn't seem to have an ounce of fat on her really, but does not appear at all unhealthy despite that. Just lean, mean, a crime fighting machine.
Her entire body is covered in dark red fur- so dark that she is often mistakenly described as being "black". Her underside is somewhat lighter in tone, starting at her face where it frames her eyes out until her cheek bones, before traveling down over her muzzle, down her neck and all the way down the front of her torso in a relatively narrow strip of subtle tan. The same shade travels outward from her groin, covering the insides of her legs down to the very bottom of her feet, but is strangely absent on her arms and hands. All of this reddish coloring is crisscrossed with dark striping, which radiates out from a single stripe down her back, fading down into banding as one pans the length of her massive Wampus tail. Her tail is not unlike the tail of most of her species- excessively long with a thick paddle-like tuft at the end. The tip is streaked with bio-luminescent patches that glow the same brilliant red color as her super sensitive eyes.
These glowing patches fade and pulsate with her emotions. The stronger her mood, the brighter the patches glow. When enraged, they are bright enough to be uncomfortable to look at directly, and prolonged exposure to their brightest state can cause blindness.
The top of her wedge-shaped head is decorated by a thick head of dark brown- almost black hair. Though naturally wavy, she straightens it once a month to make tending to it more tolerable, leaving it long enough to reach the end of her shoulder blades but keeping it tied back in a long wispy ponytail, held back and out of her eyes. A parted fringe forms bangs over her forehead, hanging to the sides of her face, usually swept up or held back by a hat or headband. She has minimal attachment to her hair.
Interesting Traits: Ellie is missing much of the right side of her face. Her fur is stained a dark, pretty much black color from blood and the actual wound that caused the injury is not actually visible. Her eye on that side is completely missing, leaving nothing but a gaping black hole in its wake. She normally keeps it covered with a simple black leather eye patch. Her right ear is also damaged in a similar way- full of holes, rips and tears.
Clothing: Very simple and unassuming style of dress, Ellie always comes off as very clean and very straight laced. She likes simple, often times tight fitting clothing that doesn't billow about or get in her way when she's trying to move. Often times, she will wear button down work shirts and straight slacks, the same exact attire that she wears while on duty- only different colors to indicate that she is off duty. She has little variety in her wardrobe. Her standard outfit consists of a short sleeve work shirt, complete with pockets on the front where she keeps her badge, a simple dark brown utility belt for her waist, and a pair of usually khaki slacks. In the winter time, she may exchange the shirt for a turtle neck sweater.
Accessories: Ellie does not accessorize on a daily basis. Her left ear is pierced, and she will occasionally put something in it, especially when more formal attire is required for an event. But that is literally the extent of it. She's not at all interested in fashion.
Physical Abnormalities: Other than being half blind and incapable of depth perception, none. Though she is slightly underweight for someone of her size.

Description: Ellie is your stereotypical seasoned police woman- tough as nails, hard as stone, and colder than either one. Assertive and independent, as one must be to make it in such a tough career field as law enforcement, Ellie is the exact opposite of a girly girl. Though she enjoys some of the finer pastimes such as reading romance novels and occasionally cooking, she is otherwise more cutthroat and dangerous than even the most respected military general. She wastes little time with trivial things such as emotions and "feelings", acting purely on practical analysis, experience and the "gut feelings" she's learned to trust. They're just about the only thing she trusts.
The only thing she can trust besides herself. Ellie is very self-assured, confident in her abilities as a police officer and loyal to her duties like some sort of mindlessly programmed robot. She eats, sleeps, dreams, even breathes her work and it never seems to leave her, always occupying her dedicated, somewhat obsessive mind. It just comes off as a personal quirk- probably one that helped her get ahead in her chosen field, that desire to push forward and strive for greatness all of the time, with little emphasis on playtime or resting. She'll stay awake all night if that's what it takes to solve a case- Heck, she'll stay awake an entire week if she needs to, and her track record shows it. But really, when you boil away all of the minor technicalities and search deeper, you find that Ellie is actually an obsessive person. She enjoys cleanliness and can be super anal about organization. She is a chronic keeper of lists and notes, her study and workspaces always full of post-its with clues and informational tid-bits that may or may not come in handy later. And of course, the obvious symptom of her tendency towards obsession is her inability to leave her "working" state of mind. No matter what she is doing, Ellie is always mentally at work, keeping an eye out for suspicious characters, always wanting to follow or question individuals that may be trying to hide something, constantly alert, constantly looking, waiting, ready for action.
The word "relax" and "fun" are not really in her vocabulary. Compared to most workaholics, Ellie is surprisingly tolerable. Somewhat mysterious and extremely introverted, she generally keeps to herself in all aspects of life, confiding in her work like a turtle confides in its shell. She has few friends and has very little interest in changing that, simply preferring to be left to her own devices. As such, she tends to leave others to their own as well. She's very... fair, in that sense- do unto others as you'd have undone to you. Ellie likes to left alone, particularly when it comes to her less than healthy quirks and life choices, so she leaves others alone as well, rarely criticizing others unless asked to or approached. As long as you don't interfere with her life, she won't interfere with yours and she honestly does what she can to get along peacefully with others.
Though she's very cold and a little bit callous, its due to her high work ethic, tendency to take everything way too seriously, and of course a general lack of practice being a happy little socialite. She's honestly not terribly malicious towards anyone she does not feel deserves it. A perfect example would be her one and only partner, the only living being able to tolerate her OCD-levels of crazy. Seek is a middle-aged domesticated red-scaled Deinonychus whom fulfills the role of "police dog". Raptors do not usually make good service animals as they can be stubborn, their energy difficult to keep up with and their wild minds difficult to tame. But no-nonsense Ellie had him on his back and whimpering in mere moments. She is the only anthro that he seems to respect and obey, and it is rare to find the two of them apart from one another. Ellie can be surprisingly affectionate with Seek- though her affection is awfully mild compared to most pet owners. A scratch on the chin or ruffling his head feathers is about as far as she'll go, but he can make her smile... which is an otherwise impossible feat.

Date of Birth:
Astrological Sign:
Backstory:|------| CURRENT |------|
Occupation: Police Officer
Location: Though she obviously reports back to the station downtown, her most common areas of patrol are the outer suburbs and the outskirts of town. She often wanders outside of technical police jurisdiction, which is of course against protocol. But the point is that it's not surprising to find Ellie making arrests outside of Norbrook. She's notorious for that in fact.
Living Conditions: A small townhouse in the Center City living community with two (well technically three) bedrooms and two baths- one upstairs and one downstairs. She keeps it relatively sparse, far more dedicated to work than to her home life, and essentially only uses it as a place to eat and sleep. There is a garage attached, which is where she keeps her partner Seek at night. During the day, he'll spend his time with her in the bedroom-turned-study upstairs.
