Starting a RP thread

So, It seems like no one has posted an RP thread yet. So I'm a little curious as to the type of format that should be followed. Also, how do you recommend starting one? Like, an introduction of the character, and what else? Sorry, I'm new to this >.<

We're not too picky on format Basically just make it a grammatically correct paragraph about 200 words long or more and you'll be off to your start. You can choose to set it up however you wish, though we know since the forum is new it can be a bit awkward. Could have your character going for a walk in the park, out fixing a car, at a club, etc... whatever you feel like, basically. The scariest part is jumping in, once you get a thread started I think you'll find everything starts to flow

Or if you'd rather wait, I'm sure within the next day or so some new threads will start cropping up. This is a very new forum with a pretty sizey bio so most of the members are still getting over the first hurdle x3
