IDENA
snow leopard/cheetah hybrid |------| female |------| twenty-three |------| novelist
|------| PHYSICAL |------|
Height: 5 ft, 9 in
Weight: 137 lb
Description: Idena, of course, doesn't look to be of any species 'standard' and somewhat resembles an African leopard because of her yellowish coloration and leopard-like markings. Despite that, she really has more cheetah aspects about her appearance. Her body is lithe and chest is large (for more air) and her face resembles that of a cheetah to a degree; her fur is also pretty short and she has multiple spots on her body. However, the snow leopard in her also shows, as her fur is a much paler color than that of a cheetah's and she has some ringed markings spread out here and there amongst her pelt; her fur is also longer in some spots (mainly her tail and cheeks).
She has an odd sort of feet-paws in the way that they aren't necessarily plantigrade and they aren't exactly digitigrade either. Speaking of feet -- hers have non-retractile, but small, claws, just as a cheetah's. Her eyes are also an interesting color, somewhat teal, matching quite well with the opals she can be seen wearing, and from her eyes are the dark 'tear marks' which cheetahs are quite well-known for.
Interesting Traits: Unless her eye color counts much for "interesting", she doesn't really have much "interesting" about her, at least in that aspect. However, one thing could be pointed out: the spots on her forehead make an oval-like pattern, or perhaps it's just that she has an oval-shaped area on her forehead without spots. Either way, that's possibly one of the only traits that could be considered special or unique about her.
Clothing: She is very "plain" in what she wears, but she can also be quite "stylish" in her own way. Her attire normally consists of single-colored shirts, often "V" -necked shirts over white blouses or otherwise. However, on chillier days, she will wear pocketed jackets and turtle necks and sweaters. Pants-wise, the "snow cheeopard" will usually wear kakis in pants or capris or other "dressy" sorts of pants (for other occasions) in blacks, grays, browns, and rarely: whites. She doesn't care for bright colors in the least, as they can cause her headaches by the saturation and light if she looks at them for too long. Often times, she will wear a twisted-leather belt with metal rings or another sort of stringy belt, if the situation calls for it.
Accessories: Idena is very simple, and thus, she wears very little jewelry. However, her right index finger almost always is wearing an old opal ring which she got from her grandmother in life. Since she can be a good deal forgetful, Idena will often loosely tie a thin red ribbon near the mid-end of her tail to remind her. Sometimes, she forgets to even take it off after remembering what she needs to; when she does take it off, she puts the ribbon in her left back pocket.
Perhaps counted more as an accessory than just a mere pet, "W", Idena's savannah cat, loves to keep her company, seen either at her feet or on her shoulders at all times. The rascal will follow her through the rain (as he loves water more than the average savannah cat should) and even to the shower, but of course, she disallows him to go in the bathroom when she needs to .. er.. go. Though he doesn't like being separated from the anthro that took him in from a kill shelter, sometimes, she just can't let him be her little "scarf with legs". He gets along with just about anyone and by far is her most precious possession, even having a collar made for him with some of her grandmother's opals. For any wanting to steal this "shoulder cat", watch out, because this cat of wild heritage can pack a punch with claws and fangs.
Physical Abnormalities: None as of yet.

Description:
Likes: reading and writing, playing with and walking W, drinking vermouth every so often, comedy shows, mystery and drama genres, volunteering at animal shelters, rice and fish, going on trips across the country and around the world to gather information for her mystery novels, strolling through the park or an area inhabited by nature
Dislikes: publicity, nosey people, when W decides that the red thread on her tail is a play thing, tobacco products and the smell they emit, romance genres, loud noises and bright lights, migraines and headaches, going into a depressed state of mind, most green, red, and white vegetables
Personal Quirks:
- Her using the red thread as a reminder and placing it around her tail could be considered a "quirk".
- Sharing food that she eats with W, from fancy dinners to tv meals; she often even uses the same utensil as she eats with to feed him.
- If someone is smoking in a room, she will not go near the person until he [or she] is done [smoking], and she will avoid breathing the smokey air as much as possible.
- She will write on her hand-paws' fur with a marker pen she often carries around if she happens to find an idea when out of her home (but oddly enough, won't do so to remind herself of things); it's hard to read sometimes, but she's learned how to write in a way that makes it simpler to understand.
- Often times, when in thought, she will grab her tail with a hand and begin to twist at the fur, making quite a mess to brush out later. When nervous, she'll hold on to one of her ears with a hand and rub on it to maybe soothe her nerves.
Mental Abnormalities: Idena has a case of Cyclothymia, becoming hypo-manic for days, then depressed for a shorter amount of time afterwards.
She can sometimes be easily aggravated and often stays up long nights, feeling that she doesn't need the rest and doing multiple things during such times without stop. During such times, she will get much work done more quickly than normal (but of course, she always has to go back and double check her work after such episodes). Her judgement will often be impaired and she will be much more impulsive than usual. She is extremely "happy" at such times,
W is also one of the factors that keeps her, more or less, out of the depressed state that follows the hypo-manic most of the time. However, during such states, she will stay at home, lock herself in a "safe zone" she created within her apartment (a large closet in her room without windows) so she can't hurt herself in any way. She often times will cry for hours on end until W can sneak his way through the air vents and into the closed room to comfort her. She disallows anyone to see her during such times.
Fortunately, bipolar attacks will only happen once or twice every six months or so, thus she normally has little to worry about.|------| HISTORICAL |------|

Occupation: Novelist; stay at home.
Location:
Living Conditions: Pretty nice, considering it's just an apartment that she lives in. It's sparsely decorated, and mainly with just rounded things such as round tables and chairs and the like (round things are less likely to do harm during an episode) with soft things such as throw pillows, blankets and the like. There's a balcony overlooking the city from her fifth-story apartment room with a comfortable bench-like seat on its side. Cat toys, a cat bed, and a large scratching post also decorate a corner of her bedroom, which she shares completely and happily with W.
Tan, blues, black and white colors are incorporated in the simple 'style' amongst her home. She feels most at home with her furniture that is, for the most-part, one colored, save for some with colored circles and spots (perhaps she feels more at home with spots because she naturally "blends in" to the rooms). Her furniture mostly has some sort of mahogany-colored wood and is as simple as the majority of her home.
Her technology within her household would include: a typewriter, a small but accommodating television, two laptops (one always plugged in to charge whilst the other is used), and a desktop computer. She has many books in a room that was once a bedroom which she turned into a large workspace. File cabinets in said room are full of mystery books she's working on or those she's finished.

Sexuality: pansexual
